Vision Therapy

How We Can Help

At Beyond 20/20 Vision Therapy, we provide vision therapy and acquired brain injury rehabilitation. Vision therapy is a progressive program of vision procedures individualized to fit the visual needs of each patient. We see patients of all ages that suffer from any of the following symptoms: 

 

Symptom Checklist: 

  • Covers or closes one eye 

  • Day dreams 

  • Dizziness 

  • Motion sickness

  • Letters or words run together 

  • Blurred vision while reading 

  • Avoids close work 

  • Double vision with near work/ when tired 

  • Rubs eyes 

  • Eye strain or headaches with near work 

  • Trouble concentrating 

  • Poor reading comprehension


Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation

An acquired brain injury (ABI) includes the following: 

  • Trauma

  • Stroke

  • Tumor

  • Concussion

  • Aneurysm


ABIs can affect multiple visual pathways leading to the following symptoms: 

  • Increased light sensitivity 

  • Reading difficulties 

  • Blurred vision 

  • Double vision 

  • Eye strain 

  • Visually-related headaches 

  • Balance/Dizziness 

  • Loss of visual field 

  • Difficulty with attention/concentration
